Terms of Service
Last updated: August 6, 2026
1. Acceptance
These terms govern your use of Sashimi (sashimi.tv), operated by Wannanap Labs. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use Sashimi.
2. What Sashimi Does
Sashimi is "AI Video Prep": you upload a video, we extract still frames from it using ffmpeg and scene-detection algorithms, and you download the frames as a ZIP file or a JSON "AI payload" for feeding into AI workflows.
3. Accounts
We use passwordless sign-in: you sign in with a magic link sent to your email. The only profile data we store is your email address and your plan. You're responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, since that's how you sign in.
4. Acceptable Use
You may only upload video you own or have the rights to use. You may not upload unlawful content, use Sashimi to infringe anyone's copyright, attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures, or use the service in a way that disrupts it for other users.
5. Plans and Billing
Free gives you 3 videos per month, with a watermark on exported frames.
Pro is a $9 USD/month subscription, billed via Stripe Checkout, and removes the watermark and extends how long your frames are retained.
Pro subscriptions renew automatically each month until canceled. You can cancel or manage your subscription any time from the Stripe customer portal, linked from your account settings. If you cancel, you keep Pro access through the end of the current billing period.
Refunds are handled case by case — contact us and we'll take a look. We don't guarantee refunds for partial billing periods.
6. Your Content and Data
You keep ownership of the videos you upload and the frames we extract from them. We don't claim any rights to them beyond what's needed to run the service — see our EULA for details. Every job has an expiration date, and expired jobs are deleted automatically; see our Privacy Policy for how retention and deletion work.
7. Our Intellectual Property
The Sashimi app, its design, and its branding belong to Wannanap Labs. Nothing in these terms gives you rights to our software, trademarks, or branding beyond what's needed to use the service as intended.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Sashimi is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that frame extraction will meet your expectations for every video.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wannanap Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Sashimi, including loss of data, video content, or profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Sashimi after a change means you accept the updated terms.
