Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 6, 2026

Sashimi (sashimi.tv) is operated by Wannanap Labs. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

What We Collect

Account data: your email address and your plan (Free or Pro). That is the only profile information we store. We authenticate you with a magic link sent to your email — we never ask for or store a password.

Your video and its frames: the video file you upload, temporarily, while it is being processed; the still frames we extract from it; and job metadata such as the filename, duration, frame rate, frame count, file sizes, and timestamps.

Analytics: first-party usage events (like page views, uploads, and exports) that we track ourselves, plus aggregate metrics from Vercel Analytics. We do not use third-party ad-tracking tech, and we do not sell your data to anyone.

Why We Collect It

We use this data to run the core product — extracting frames from your video, generating your ZIP or AI-payload export, showing you your job history — and to understand how the product is used so we can improve it. We use your email to sign you in and to send account-related messages (like a magic-link email or a billing receipt).

Who We Share It With

We share data only with the infrastructure providers that run Sashimi, acting as our data processors:

Supabase — our database and object storage, where your account record, job metadata, and uploaded/extracted files live.
Vercel — our hosting and compute provider, which also runs Vercel Analytics.
Stripe — handles all payment data for Pro subscriptions. We never see or store your card number; Stripe processes it directly.

All processing happens in US data regions. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Retention and Deletion

Every job has an expiration date. Free-tier jobs expire sooner than Pro-tier jobs. A daily automated cleanup deletes the source video, extracted frames, and exports for any expired job, and marks the job as deleted. Once deleted, that content is gone — we don't keep backups of expired job content beyond the deletion run.

You can ask us to delete your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us — see Contact below.

Cookies and Sessions

We use a session cookie/token to keep you signed in after you click your magic link. We don't use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing — the kinds of rights described in laws like the GDPR (Europe) and the CCPA (California). We honor these requests for all users, regardless of location. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Sashimi after a change means you accept the updated policy.
